Weekly Wishes #4

Another week is upon us, which can only mean one thing - time for some weekly goal setting! I am really loving the practice of starting out each week with a few small intentions. In just four short weeks it has affirmed my belief that if you put it out there, it really goes a long way in making it happen. While the goals I set each week are small, I know they are bringing me towards the bigger pictures. broad main weekly goal setting Last week I sought out to:

Edit and post our photos from Charleston// Yes! I posted them on Tuesday. In case you missed it, you can check it out here!

Work on my blog design // I mentioned that I purchased a new Genesis framework child theme, Foodie Pro. Well, I LOVE it even though I don't even have a food blog. I did some tweaking over the weekend and thanks to my new found Photoshop skills thanks to Skillshare (I now know enough to be dangerous... still have a long way to go!), it looks a little different around here. If you are catching up via a blog reader, you can check out some of the changes here. I'd like to continue tweaking... the blog design is very much a work in progress!

Plan out next week's blog posts// Check! My husband is in the midst of marathon training so on Sunday I found myself with about two hours of alone time... what better to do with it than plan ahead! I have a few things up my sleeve for this week including a post on how I negotiated a work from home position. Stay tuned.

This week I'd like to:

Take three 45 minute walks // It's supposed to get really cold and gross next week, so I'd like to soak up some of the good weather this week. This will also give me time to finish the book I'm listening to on tap (Me Before You by Jojo Moyes in case you are curious).

Find curtain rods for the office and guest bedroom // My parents are coming to visit and they are our first house guests since we moved in! I want the house to look presentable for their arrival and I think hanging curtains (finally) will help pull things together.

Finish another course on Skillshare // I mentioned earlier that I now know enough to be dangerous with Photoshop, and I'd like to keep going with it. I seriously LOVE Skillshare and it's the best money I've spent all year. Invest in yourself my friends! It feels really good. If you are at all interested, you can get a free month of Skillshare here.

What's on tap for you this week? Let's make it a good one.
